The pharmaceutical producers warned MH about the confusions regarding the upcoming tenders |

In a letter to MH the Association of research pharmaceutical producers in Bulgaria the ministry of health is warned that the holding of the new tenders for medicines entail substantial risk that all supplies for 2010 be blocked because of contradictions in the legislation. The acting Regulation 34 contradicts the Law on medicine products in human medicine and that can be used as a legal basis to appeal all tender procedures. It is also pointed out that in the prepared specification for the tenders the ministry of health has absolutely groundlessly narrowed the instructions for application of many of them. In that way many patients are deprived of timely treatment. The pharmaceutical producers have offered concrete texts for amendments to Regulation 34. An urgent meeting has been held between the Association and the minister of health in relation to the letter but no results have been announced so far.
