The professional associations summoned the doctors to boycott MH and NHIF |

 The Bulgarian medical association in a special declaration announced that it terminates its participation in the negotiations for the new National framework agreement. As main reason or that it is pointed out that the new government does not want to engage in such a contract for 2010 and instead a decision of the GB of NHIF is being prepared. From BMA they express their disappointment with the fact that exactly their former Chairman and now the minister of health d-r Bojidar Nanev is one of the initiators of the termination of the contract basis in healthcare. In another declaration the Government is informed that BMA withdraws all its representatives from commissions and working groups and all their future actions can not be connected in no way to the BMA. From the National association of the general practitioners they appealed to its ,members not to sign contracts for 2010 until the organization gets familiar with the new conditions and the demands of the doctors are satisfied. Until this moment there has not been a reaction from the Government and the ministry of health. One thing is sure - hard days are in store for healthcare because no reform can be successful if those to whom it is directed do not accept it and oppose it.
