The ministry of health announced a Public tender for purchasing medicines under Regulation 34 for 2010. The deadline for submitting offers is 8th January 2010. For the first time for 10 years the medicine for treatment of Gaucher's disease has not been included in the specification. Another genetic disease - mucopolysaccharidose has not been included either even though the medicine is present both in the Positive medicine list and in Regulation 34. The question remains open what will change with the acceptance of the Positive medicine list when the ministry fo health just like before decides by itself based on unknown criteria who will be treated and who will not. Why are rules necessary when the state itself does not observe them? for the patients with Mucopolysaccharidose and Gaucher's disease the question is who will live and who will not? Who will bear the responsibility for the fate of 16 children, our compatriots, for whom there are medicines that meet all the requirements but somebody decided that he can leave them without treatment. That someone will probably be happy during the Christmas and New Year holidays but whether the patients and their relatives will be happy? Whoever takes the decisions will hardly bear the political responsibility but there is always one other responsibility that nobody can escape - the responsibility in form of Him. He sees all and the day will come when everybody will pay for his sins. Do not fear the people but fear Him.
