MH sentenced to pay 100 000 leva |

 A session of the Supreme administrative court gave a final ruling and sentences the ministry of health to pay a compensation of 100 000 leva to V.V. The compensation is awarded because the state in violation of its obligations did not provide timely diagnostics and treatment to V.V, who was a cancer patient. Due to the lack of adequate reactives nad tests a wrong diagnosis was given and consequently radio therapy was applied with equipment that did not meet contemporary standards. All that led to the development of the disease and the appearance of metastasis and complications. The case was filed in 2007 and unfortunately V.V. did not live to hear the final decision of the court and she died in the beginning of the year.
