NHIS robbed the December payments, too |

The NHIS refuted the words of minister Nanev that he would pay all finished work. After for the third time in a row the monopolist delayed the payments to health institutions it turned out that the money for the hospitals for the month of December had been cut according to the delegated budgets for 2010. As we already wrote the contracts between the hospitals and LHIS are signed in the beginning of February but the delegated budgets are in power from January the 1st and thus it follows that a sizable portion of the work of hospitals for the month of January will not be paid because when the medics treated their patients they did not have any idea what restrictions they would be imposed backwards. The reality however turned out even worse. By cutting the money for December the NHIS in fact imposes the delegated budgets from the 1st of December and thus has exceeded all records so far of arbitrariness, lawlessness and administrative racket. The absurdity is complete because in December all hospitals worked under contracts for 2009 where there were no delegated budgets whatsoever. We recommend to all hospitals that have suffered harm to file lawsuits for the deducted sums together with the due interest for the delay.
